In the novel, In the Country of Men, Suleiman is hurtle below a lot of pressure throughout his life. I can move over my personal issues with Suleiman because I am also put nether pressure by my family. My family puts pressure on me every daytimelight: They call for me to go to a prestigious university and body of work medical examination science, without taking my personal interests into account. My kick upstairss believe that if I were to study medical exam science, I would go on to follow a blotto and promising life, what they do not know, is that I would no long-acting be happy. Despite my familys tyrannical opinion, Id sooner put in much effort in an concern of my choice such as a lineage in the field of law, and windlessness rattling a booming life. Working in a concern which I passing despise, sounds like a life I do not want to live. Instead, I d rather combine my values, interests and genius traits to use in a zip that is more adapted for me. Whatever I do or state, I but cannot convince them to change their minds. How am I supposed to be doctor, if I faint on the bay window of blood! My parents judgements about my future occupation are lumpish and even if they do not specify it, they subconsciously put pressure on me every day of my life. Another way my parents crush me with pressure is by examine me to my relatives. Im an only child and the youngest one in my family; all of my first cousins all got there masters full stop or theyre in university getting their masters degree. Im still in high school, and everyone in my family is annullessly and persistently drill me about what I want to become. When I bring up an interesting profession, my parents compare it with a cousins career and then reject my idea.
