It is a lyric poem that centers on Tennysons   mourning over the death of his best friend Arthur Henry H completelyam.  that it is  more than than an elegy that  extinguishes the poets heartache and emptiness, the poet  similarly presents us the impersonal characteristic of nature. Nature continues to function according to its  hertzs and cycles  regardless of what happens, well or bad, to human beings.
